Do aquatic frogs need a floting doc?

we got a frog from walmart. not sure which kind but its in a fishtank with fish and was wondering if there should be an area for it to get outta the tank....please help.

I believe the species that Walmart carries are the African Dwarf's.If that is the case you do not needa land area.Those frogs spend all of their time under water.

Frogs should have floating plants that aren't above the water. Clawed frogs and dwarf frogs both like a hang out area where they will sleep occasoinally. My clawed frogs used to sleep on the plants as a "hammock" so they wouldn't have to move to get air.

If you have Silurana tropicalis, the TRUE "dwarf clawed frog," they do haul themselves onto a floating dock to bask.
