I often wonder what brought many of you to take on this hobby. I feel like a kid again, but it's great to have these frogs. I have two BF's, yet I'm not an expert.

Just raising them. They often hear me when I come home, swim around the tank at my approach. Just wonder. . .I hear of a guy having a BF for over seven years. Could I make this last that long? Any experts here?

It is so entertaining to watch them eating. I have two big female acfs (one is albino) and one normal male. They spend hours chasing around their feeder fish and they really tear through tubifex squares.
Additionally, they have bred now, and we have a buncha tadpoles on our hands. When they morph, I'm trading them at a local reptile shop for some feeders for my snakes.
I love having these frogs! If I had to pinpoint the reason, it's that they are entertaining and also, not really alot of work to own. Their tank's filter keeps the water clean and I only need to change it a few times a month.

Yeah, I like this spectabular aspect of frogs too. It's really awe inspiring, in some ways, to observe them in their natural, albeit captive, state. Frogs, for some reason, really mesmerize me.

I don't know what it is, or why. Perhaps it's their look. I have two growing BF's, and they're neat, and neat to watch. I feel relaxed to, and as if I've a closeness to such creatures. It's strange, but good, I think.
