An Aggressive Python??

catnipcutie Dec 04, 2004 04:27 PM

HI everyone. I was just wondering what is more likely to be an aggressive python? A Ball or Burmese? Also which sex, M or F?

Of course I am only referring to the basic ball or burmese, not albino's or anything like that.

Thanks.

and males seem to be a bit more agressive especially during breeding season

balls almost never show any agression of any sort....cept maybe during feeding time

besides.....burms get huge...20 foot plus in extreme cases....are you ready for a huge snake?

balls are docile, pretty, eat well, and only get 4-6ft at the most.....much better snake for a beginner

Thanks a lot Keith. I was just curious. So a female Ball would be good for a beginner then? I know the burmese can get very large. my husband worked with one in a sideshow last year. He said it was about 10 feet and growing. However he said it was a rather gently animal, but like you said, except for feeding time.

Thanks a lot for the info.
