on which locale you are talking about. My Borrego female was close to 36", while my Triv Triv male was only 22". Pictured is a Unicolor adult female who was about 38". i personnally have not seen a rosy over 40". Hope that helps. susan

Coastal rosies can get 40 inches plus and quite large in girth (for a rosy boa anyway.) I found a Temecula rosy female that was easily 40 inches if not a few inches larger.. I tried to measure in the field but she wouldn't cooperate, and I let her be on her way. She had an enormous lump in her.. I mean adult rat size.
