i read on a website that ACF's like to float on something at the surface of the water to "sleep." My question is; what can i use? I put a sponge in there, but she doesnt appear to use it, and it is slowly sinking...any ideas? also, i'm going to be going home for winter break in 3 days, any tips or suggestions for moving my ACF? she did fine coming here, but is bigger now, and all i have for transportation is a 2 1/2 gallon tank that she might end up having to share with a dwarf gourami and a cleaner fish. the ride should be about 4 hours, and i'm concerned that it would be a little long in such a cramped space. Any suggestions would be much obliged. thanks for your time!

I don't know how big your fish are, but if you have to put them together, make sure the frog can't eat them.

What about a big tupperware container with a lid? You could put the fish in one of those with some tank water, and the frog could have the 2-1/2 gallon to himself.

When I moved, I didn't actually put the fish in anything else - I just drained about 2/3 of the water from the tanks and loaded them into the back of the U-Haul. My largest tank is a 20 gallon. It worked ok, though I did lose a couple catfish.
