YAY!! I found my juvenile ball python today! 
I cried, it's been a month, he's a little skinnier, but in all, he was happy to greet me again. So much for the baggie and cornstarch tricks, he was up on the pantry shelf in the laundry room. Thanks to everyone for the tips though, I really appreciate it...and good luck to those who are still missing their herps, I promise they'll turn up eventually.
Ta-ta for now (until Chopper escapes again!)
