'Little is known of their mode of life. Egg layers.' That is a direct quote from The Completely Illustrated Atlas of Reptiles and Amphibians for the Terrarium, Fritz Jurgen Obst. If you can find a copy, you might look them up in Reptiles Vol. 1 and 2 by Manfred Rogner, published by Krieger Publishing. Sorry I can't help more, but you've picked some really uncommon lizards. Best of luck.

Natural History/discriptions/behavior can be found in "Reptiles and Amphibians of Madagascar" book. They behave somewhat like African Sandfish skinks: insectivorious/diurnal/terrestrial but spend great deal of time burrowing or swimming in sandy substrate. I did come across a good caresheet posted on the internet>
http://people.qualcomm.com/ntenny/tracheloptychus-cae.html
this caresheet should cover basics and tips.
