The story is here:

I've got the animal on a fluid/protein/vitamin regimen. Sunday I fed him 7cc's and the local emergency vet service gave him 6cc's of sub-dermal fluid. He was able to defocate and the urates were quite large in comparison to everything else. This AM he's received 6cc's of mixed goodies- Ensure, Vitamins includign D3 and calcium, Gatorade, and some Uro dust dropped in for solids. I've had him under a heat lamp all night and day now, he's responding better and will put up some fight when being fed the gatorade (doesn't like grape, I guess) and responds positively to touch.
Sunday he also recieved a hot Listerene bath and was sprayed for mites. I'm concerned about his eyes- the eyelids look nearly dried shut though I've done no poking. He's got an appointment with a specialist in the morning. Has anyone been through anything like this? Any hints on the eye problem?

Depending upon what it looks like and what state you are in (prescription in some) there is a terramycin ointment you can get for most eye issues. Your vet also may put in on baytril.

Think the eye issues may secondary to getting some nutrition and fluids into it.

You are going to have a long way to go to get that one back on it's feet. Best of luck
