Albino Florida Softshell?

juggalojoe Feb 21, 2005 06:44 PM

I recently odtained three abnormal florida softshells. All three are heathly and eaten. I was looking at the kingsnake photo gallery and found an albinoe florida softshell. The ones I have are very similiar if not exactly alike the one in the picture. I also have one of there litter mates that turned out looking normal if not darker than normal. I was hopeing somebody would have some information on albino florida softshells and an idea of how much they would sell for.

Thanks...
Joe

Do they have pink eyes? Any coloration of any sort?

They still have the yellowish eyes...but they are lacking all black pigment. Where black spots would normally be it is a purple color. What makes me think these are albino is that when i bought them as babies they were completely different from the rest of the group and i raised one of its siblings the exact same way in the same cage and it turned out comepletely normal. They look almost exactly like the Albino Florida Softshell in the Kingsnake Photo Galleries.

Thanks...
Joe
