The other day while feeding my two ball pythons, my male mistook my pinky finger for the mouse. This happened because, one.. he had a cap from his last shed covering one eye and two.. I was stupid and had my pinky sticking out. I am posting this for those of you that don't know what to do in this situation. Thanks to a show on Animal Planet I knew what to do. If it ever happens with any kind of snake, run some hot water and put the snake under it. Not too hotthough, you don't want to scald it. Or you can use alcohol anything that has it in it. Booze, or rubbing alcohol. Just don't panic. It is more of a shock than anything. It hurt but not as much as say a cat bite.

Worst thing to have bite you is an angry macaw. I've had them draw blood on me before, but I've seen chunks taken off people. Give me a snake bite any day.

a Macaw is nothing compared to my 17ft albino burmese python when i got bit then it rapped around my body. i was pooring so much blood and i had to get like 80 stitches around my side. iwould easily take i bite from a macaw no matter how big it is it doesnt rap around u like a huge burm or retic. a little snake like a 4ft ball is nothing because u dont need stitches. my burms teeth are like 1 in long maybe more and when it has 200 and they are curved backwards so u cant get it to cone off right away. dude i understand if you are talking about a small snake.

Why were you, a little 13 year old, handing a 17 foot snake by yourself? I believe if it is your snake, your parents are irrisponsible for letting you have it. If it belongs to your parents, then they are irrisponsible for not locking it up in a way that you couldn't get to it without them there.
That's just ridiculous, and you seem to think you're so cool for having been bitten. Not cool, stupid.

Young kids should not have access to huge snakes, period.
