Feeding Question

dsgnGrl Feb 27, 2005 07:54 PM

Ok, my new hatchling Musk is eating like a champ on reptomin pellets. With my RES I have to be careful not to overfeed them, is it the same with musk turtles? How much should he be eating every day? Today he ate 2 sticks of reptomin, regular adult turtle size. I broke it into tiny bits for him, and he swam around and ate them all. Since each piece is about as long as he is I thought it was a good deal for him.

I think anywhere form 2-4 pellets a day is fine. I would try to feed him other things than just pellets though. Im sure he would eat crickets and small feeder fish. Also, try feeding him 2-3 small meals a day, instead of one big meal.
