RED FOOT DIET INQUIRY

i was wondering if anyone knows and companies that sell hibiscus flowers fresh or prickly pear pads i would like to get atleast some hibiscus for my red foot and from what i know its hard to grow up here in vermont, anyone also have any different idea about treats for the red foot

You can buy cactus pads at grocery stores in my area, Virginia. My redfoots love Dandelions especially the flowers. I think melon of any kind also makes a good treat.

My wife managed to find some prickly pair whenit came into to walmart and she bought almost all of it.We do get the pads fairly often here so that does give all the torts some nice diversity in the food department....

I have ordered from turtle cafe and have found them to be a great source. My one tortoise LOVES mushrooms. Walkabout farms advertises dried flowers, but I have been unable to get any response from them lately. my torts were very happy w/ the cactus pads from turtle cafe.

...even a small cold frame can accomodate all that and more (yer torts and plants)...

You know that is a great suggestion Mr Ecoman......We are going to be putting in a green house for that very purpose ....plants and torts all in one............
