What do fly rivers eat

cantilviper Mar 30, 2005 05:49 PM

What do fly river turtles eat and if pellets what is the best brand to feed? And do they need land to climb out onto or do they stay in the water? Can you keep them in a tank that is completely filled or should it be shallow? Are there any good web sites to look up info? Thanks in advance

There is a flyriver turtle yahoo group you can join. Do not get one of these until you have done your homework. You really need to know what you are up against. They are pretty hardy once you have them set up correctly BUT you need to know all the details AND that they get HUGE and I mean HUGE and need a large tank or pond set up to kept healthy and happy.
