Over the past year now i have been hearing that retics are or are being renamed/classified. Son is it true or not. I have read the infor on this page further down and it says that they are but if they are being reconized or not.
Please in laymen terms can someone let all of know yes or no and if yes what they are officalt now.

Hi,
well, the reticulated pythons were subject to a revision back in 2000 and 2002. Below listed the relevant citations. You can ignore the Hoser paper and the introduction of the genus Broghammerus by Hoser. See discussion below in this forum.
I guess almost nobody will seriously follow this more than poor proposal...
