substrate for Redfoot

Can I use red bark mulch. It's mulch but it's red colored. Would it harm my tort? He's just a baby.Thanks

I have use cypress bark for mine but they seem to really like the ecoearth. It holds moisture really well and they can borrow into it easily. I have never tried the red mulch. I don't know if this helps but I fiqured it was worth a try.

I *think* it's mulched pine or cedar, which is a no-no for any reptile.

I have a youngster redfoot and I use the compressed coconut husk. Stays moist, he loves to burrow in it and it's easy to clean.
