ok i came home from petco today(i got crickets)and my friend came up to me and sed i dont wawnt my turtle anymore.so i took it.i was woundering if there any good sites on W.C. eastern painted turtles?also do they eat lettuce?i had a couple baby red ear sliders before,are they the same care requirments?

Painteds require pretty much the same care as RES but tend to be a bit more carniverous. Don't feed lettuce, it has no nutritional value. A good commercial food like Reptomin, crickets, mealworms, collards, dandelion greens, guppies, minnows, etc. Some good care sites are:
