What is the best equipment for water changes..

lfinster62 Jul 06, 2005 11:41 AM

Can anyone recommend the best/easiest way to change the water? I would like to do it more often but it is such a hassle and takes forever! Is there a syphon with an electric pump to get the water out and then put it back? Any feedback would be appreciated!!

Thanks,

Lori

PS. I have a 20 gal tank.

I love my Python! It hooks up to your faucet, siphons and refills the tank. www.drsfostersmith.com/product/prod_display.cfm?pcatid=3910&N=2004 113159

Thank you so much! I was looking at that very one but wanted to make sure that someone else who has used it liked it. Thanks for the link too.

I'm late on this one but I have to agree, the Python hose is the greatest invention since sliced bread!

If you didn't get one already, I noticed that Walmart is selling them now. I bought mine a few years ago through a mail order catalog, then Walmart started carrying them. Oh well doesn't matter it's the same price just no S&H charges when you buy it at a store.
