Well this forum has been really, really slow lately so I thought I would post a picture to hopefully get things rolling. This is my Giant Day Gecko "Gecky". Pretty original name, not!!! But it works.

That's a sharp and beautiful picture, on a black background -- cool.
Nice coloring! Is it a P. Mad. Grand.? I didn't know they could have blue backs and pink toes. Or is that a trick of the light to some degree?

Thanks for the complament. He really does have a blue back and his toes are kind of orange but not pink. I am told that the blue color is very rare in P. m. grandis and I know of only one breeder (reproom.com) that has done work with the blue variation of P. m. grandis. I'm hoping to find a nice female to pair him up with but am still looking.
