Do you think $80.00 is a fair price for a 55 gallon tank?

I'm asking because:
My western painted hasn't lived in a glass tank since he outgrew the 10 gallon he lived in as a hatchling, that was 10 years ago.
I bought a new Magnum filter recently & frankly it doesn't fit very well on his 55 gallon clear plastic Christmas tree storage box so I began looking into getting a 55 gallon glass.
The local pet stores sell them for $120.00 or more, I found a deal on a brand new one for $80.00 that I can get locally.
So ya think that's a fair price? Have any of you found a tank that big for less?
Just wondering because I like to save a buck whenever I can. TIA.

Yeah thats a decent price, is that just the tank or does that include the hood and lights? If it dosnt, then its a rip. I have seen starter 55gal kits with tank, filter, heater, lights and hood for $100. So you may want to keep looking.

Starter kits with everything for less than $80.00? Ack I haven't seen anything that cheap around here yet! Lucky you!

The tank for $80.00 is just the tank. The ones I've seen at the pet stores for $120.00 or more all come with the light & everything but I don't want that because the way my stand is built I don't need or want the light fixture, I already have the light fixture that I need.
We don't have a great selection of pet stores in my region, we have a choice of Pet's Mart and one nasty feed store that's trying to be a pet store here.. or we can drive over to the next town 20 miles away where there are a half a dozen filthy mom & pop type stores.
Needless to say I do a lot of mail ordering for supplies but you can't just mail order a glass tank as easily as you can other supplies.
Oh well thanks for the input, it is helpful.

Ok just rub it in!! LOL
Last year I went to the next town over where all the stinky disgusting mom & pop stores are to look for a 20H. I'd taken in a neglected African fat tailed gecko who needed to move into my 20L which would leave my pac-man frog homeless. I went to an aquarium store, they wanted $42.00 for a 20H. JUST the tank alone, ridiculous!
I looked all over, couldn't find a good price so I finally walked into Pet's Mart here where they sell tanks under 55 for about a dollar a gallon. I got a 20H for about $22.00 including tax.
When I went there to buy a 55 they for some reason do not sell tanks that big without forcing you to take the light fixture & I don't know what else so it's $120.00 total for a tank with stuff I don't want.
My vet can order tanks from a vet supply house & with S&H & all it's about $80.00 so that's the lowest price I've been able to find in my area.
My painted boy needs a new pair of shoes.. OH! I mean home lol so it looks like I'm gonna have to go with the $80.00 one. :-x
