Care for long tailed grass lizard

Lizarddude720 Aug 01, 2005 01:04 AM

im thinking of getting another 1 or 3 long tailed grass lizards. Could yall give me some care sheets that tell me what a good habitat and how to sex and breed them? Ive kept 1 before with my Crested gecko, green and brown anoles ground skink and a little frog/toad in a 2oh and he lived a good life until he choked on a cricket.

they need a minimum of a 20L tank. humidity-70% basking spot-90-95F. as for sexing, males have larger heads and pronounced hemepenal bulges. it takes some practice to sex them but it gets easier after you have seen a lot of them. they are very easy to breed after you have them sexed accurately. good luck and try feeding small sized crickets so they dont choke.
