safe to house cobra with toad

jcgranite Aug 08, 2005 08:30 PM

my girlfriend has a tank of frogs and one of them a barking toad is eating everything else. would it be unsafe for my black necked cobra if he decided to eat the toad, just figured i could toss him in a 125 gallon terraium with some water on one side rather than get rid of him. thanks in advance

NOO! The cobra would at the very least bite the frog and killing it

If haphazard care is what you want then at least invest in a used 15 gallon (probably $5 at a garage sale). Better yet, look in on the frog forums and learn to provide it an awesome natural vivaria that will renew your appreciation for the little fella.

ahh, i did not want to kill him persay, i just wanted to know if it would be harmful to the snake if ingested, but no worries the toad is right at home in a 15 gallon, away from the others in the 30 gallon.
