I picked up a pair @ the Sacramento, CA show from GVS, they have been kind of picky eating-had to rub goldfish on the fuzzie mouse before they will eat them. Anyhow they are Cooool snakes!!! very active & alert. pick of one "fanning"

Be careful! Their potential for a serious bite is underated and downplayed by a lot of persons unaware.

To follow up on Tim's caution...It has been my experience (13 years of maintaining & breeding a couple of generations) that the younger ones like the one pictured with the background of bare skin are much more likely to bite than the adults are.

They are fine animals. You should get years of enjoyment from them. Make sure you are ready to up-size your caging. They get up around eight feet.

Be careful at feeding time. The term "feeding frenzy" may have been invented to describe gigas. No need whatsoever for live food with these.

seriously we are responsible when it comes to handling all my snakes. I had FWC before about 10 years ago & excited about watching them grow to adult size now. But It seems like everytime I post a pic with a venomous all people comment on, is getting bit.I have been handling snakes for over 25 years-including venomous
