Day geckos in a vivarium set up...any low temp geckos??

lilroach56 Aug 27, 2005 06:36 PM

I wan't to make a vivarium for some kind of herp. Most commonly done with dart frogs i heard that day geckos make good vivarium choices.

Would any species of day gecko fit my needs?
10 gallon cage
Temps 70-80

Are any of the species that work for it commonly available? Colorful?

Could you give me a link to a good caresheet or article on them?

Too cool for the day gecko. Why the restrictive temps? If raising the temps with a basking light is not an option, those temps would be perfect for the leaf tailed geckos (uroplatus). Humidity is also a concern. See that forum
