I would put the anole in the cage with the Candoia, feed it crix and see what happens. It may take it. Also a live pink with the anole on occasion is worth while. If there is a magic formula with these animals I am unaware, hardest things I have ever worked with...

VICTORY IS MINE!!!!!he finially ate a grey tree frog last night. thanks for all the suggestions. anyone have any tips on scenting pinkies?
to follow up the taking of frog/anole with a pink right away, I would have on hand both live ane FT. I have also been told to wash all yhe "mouse smell" off the pink, but as to what this actually means, I am unclear. I bought a White's tree to use as scent, did nothing, now I have a pet frog.
Note that they will starve to death, so you may be into frogs as food in the short term. I can say that they will live on one live pink once a month. I do not have access to them more often, but my little female is able to choke one down (it is hard to believe, she can do it) at that rate.
If you can get it to eat ANYTHING you are on the right track and hope abounds. Good luck...
PS. Once they eat FT, they are super easy to take care of. They do like a large water dish, something sufficient to take a bath in. Providing that venue has seemed rather important.

I have never worked with a cansoia species yet. I have scented prey for various snakes though. One good methos is to take an appropriately sized f/t rodent and put a piece of it's preferred prey in it's mout. When you wiggle it in front of the boa, it will hopefully smell the prey and strike, grabbing the rodent along with it.
Good luck.
