Can Baby African Clawed Frogs be confused as Afrrican dwarf Frogs??
Because i just bought 5 full grown ADFs a week ago and one of them is starting to grow larger and there is no webbing between the fingers of the front arm. All the frogs are in my 29 gallon tank with some neon tetras. If it is a ACF should i move it alone into my extra 20 gallon tank? And do they make good pets? I have a Leopard Gecko and a Pac man frog. and A WHOLE LOT OF FISH!! Hope they are easy to keep. well thanks in advance.

Yes, you could have easily bought an ACF if the person that sold it to you had no idea what they were doing. I just bought an adult female acf from a petstore that what selling her as a leopard frog and had no idea. It was very sad. She was being kept in a cage for a leopard frog. These frogs do make good pets. I would watch to see if it continues to grow. If so, put it into another tank as it will eat the other frogs and any fish that could fit into its mouth. you may have a month or so to watch before it will be big enough to eat the others. I hope everything goes well.

Good Luck

pS 20gal would be perfect for it as an adult, and they do like friends
