Most 99% of the Aussy variety of Elapids we see here are usually the PNG cousins. Since your Govt. considers the parents and offspring of any Aussy snake their property it's not likely to get many people responding if they indeed have the "Real Deal"

Okay. I take it then that only minimal exportation from here occured even when it was allowed then?
I understand the PNG cousins to be different in many aspects (and those differences are only going to get greater and greater!).
