This gal must be about 30 inches long and as thick as a man's wrist. I've seen a lot (many in Indonesia), and she is the largest yet that I've ever seen. She is very light colored and might be gravid. If not gravid, I will find her a boyfriend soon as this gal needs to pass on these colorful genes.

Very nice, have you been in New Guinea and seen them in the wild?

I lived in Indonesia for a few years and visited Irian Jaya but never saw them in the wild. However they were common at snake vendors at fish and mamal markets and I only saw small to medium sized specimens, nothing like this jumbo specimen. I hope she is gravid but something tells me she was a long term captive of someone who fed her well. She ate a nice sized small rat the other day.
