Geeze Brett...
I'm not even sure there are any of these in the USA. I have notes on these but I don't have access to them at the moment. Why the query?

You can take the snake out of the jungle but you can't take the jungle out of the snake.
I know, an oddball huh. Well I was speaking with someone from the former USSR and they mentioned "a leetle black snake vich is berry dangeruse comrade". I thought vipera for sure but wasnt sure of the ssp. why are they not in the US hasnt anyone given them a go before? Would anyone want to?

Susan Hunter, who resides in Canada, used to keep this snappy little viper. Not recommended for newbies!

Hi Derek, do you know if she is still working with them??

Unfortunetly not! Unless they have started up again(?), both Susan and her husband " Alan Hunter" are no longer keeping venomous snakes. I was quite sad to hear that this had transpired!

that is indeed too bad. they are one interesting looking animal!

I have some CB'05 babies of this species. Very interesting animals to keep. I've recently purchased them.
They are seldom seen in European collections too.
Here some pics:
