New project... need some input/opinions

Well I recently aquired two baby columbians from somebody at a local reptile society, I didn't get to go into much detail with him, but I was wondering what my possibilties were with these two. Both are anery's in appearance.

My male is from a Anery 66% het snow to a Snow.
My female is from an Anery het snow to Anery het snow

Please excuse my redundancy, I'm sure you guys/gals get this all the time, but genetics isn't a strong understanding of mine. So I guess my question is what are my possibilites from breeding these two. What If I get a 1.1 albino's and swap them out? Thanks in advance to anybody who responds.

Your male is anerythristic and heterozygous albino (AKA anery het snow).

Your female is anerythristic and 66% probability heterozygous albino (AKA anery 66% probability het snow).

All their babies will be anerythristic. I would breed your two snakes and see if any snows turn up. If you get at least 20 babies, and none of the babies are snow, then the female has a greater than 99% probability of not being heterozygous albino. If one or more snows are born, then the female is heterozygous albino, too. Statistically, if the female is heterozygous albino, then a quarter of the babies would be snow, and the rest would be anerythristics that are 66% probability heterozygous albino. If the female is NOT heterozygous albino, then all of the babies would be anerythristic and 50% probability heterozygous albino.

Breeding an albino to an anerythristic that is heterozygous albino would produce (statistically) 1/2 albino hetrozygous anerythristic and 1/2 heterozygous albino heterozygous anerythristic (looks normal).

To get snows, both parents must have at least one albino mutant gene and at least one anerythristic mutant gene. If your goal is to produce snows, then you can do it by mating your male to a snow or an albino heterozygous anerythristic or an anerythristic heterozygous albino or a heterozygous albino heterozygous anerythristic. The cheapest way to produce snows now is for your female to be to be anerythristic heterozygous albino.

Your anerythristic, heterozygous albino male can produce snows when mated to any one of the four following females:
1. anerythristic albino (snow)
2. anerythristic, heterozygous albino
3. albino, heterozygous anerythristic
4. heterozygous anerythristic, heterozygous albino

Which female or females chosen will depend on the proportion of snows you are willing to settle for, what is available, and on the amount of time and money you can spend on the project.

1. Anerythristic, heterozygous albino (AKA anery het snow) x anerythristic albino (AKA snow) -->
1/2 anerythristic, heterozygous albino
1/2 anerythristic albino (snow)

2. Anerythristic, heterozygous albino (AKA anery het snow) x anerythristic, heterozygous albino -->
3/4 anerythristic, (and 66% probability heterozygous albino)
1/4 anerythristic albino (snow)

3. Anerythristic, heterozygous albino (AKA anery het snow) x albino, heterozygous anerythristic -->
1/4 normal looking (heterozygous anerythristic, heterozygous albino)
1/4 anerythristic, heterozygous albino
1/4 albino, heterozygous anerythristic
1/4 anerythristic albino (snow)

4. Anerythristic, heterozygous albino (AKA anery het snow) x heterozygous anerythristic, heterozygous albino -->
3/8 normal looking (heterozygous anerythristic, probability 66% of being heterozygous albino)
3/8 anerythristic (probability 66% of being heterozygous albino)
1/8 albino, heterozygous anerythristic
1/8 anerythristic albino (snow)

Mating 1 produces the most snow babies but uses the most expensive female. Matings 2 and 3 can be expected to produce equal numbers of snows. I don't know where the prices would be for the females. Mating 4 would produce the fewest snows but uses the least expensive female.

Paul is 100% correct in his outcome. One small point he did not make though, pairing #3 (IMO) is better than pairing #2 as it produces a variety of KNOWN het status animals.
