Looking for a good Vet in Texas

august9 Sep 19, 2005 04:36 PM

Can anyone help me locate a good Vet in Texas (hopefully Dallas area) that can take a look at my Egyptian Cobra. He seems healthy, but I want to get him checked for viruses, etc.

Thanks for all your help!

Regards,

Martin

... I didn't mention this on the main page, but you can also call local zoo's and see who they use. Generally only the largest zoos have a full-time vet on staff which probably wouldn't see regular clients.

Thank you for the information! I called around and found a good Vet named Greg Moore. He is with Southlake Animal Hospital and he has dealt with Venemous animals for quite some time now. I found out that it could cost as much as $700.00 to bring my snake in and have all the work done.
