my friend lives in TX. and she found a baby lizard. Can you tell me what species it is and are there any care sheets?

Your friend has a Mediterranean Gecko (Hemidactylus turcicus), which is an introduced species. Ask in the Gecko forum for care tips.

Now I could be wrong, but my understanding is that this is just a common house gecko. They are everywhere in Texas.
Matter of fact I have one and wish I had never caught him. He would be so much happier in the wild.
Best care sheet you can get is... let him be free.

Mediterranean geckos are commonly refered to as house geckos, as are many other small geckos.
