Rosy Boa Longevity

slpalmer Oct 05, 2005 07:55 PM

Can someone give me a lifespan on a rosy boa? I have several Borregos that are about nine years old and still breeding.

Steph:

I know of some that have been in captivity now over 30 years. Of course, that is a best case scenario. I had a Corn Springs Boa that was WC as an adult male by someone and subsequently kept in captivity 16 years then passed along to me. It lived 4 more years and bred during that time, so was at least ~25 yrs.
