Found this little guy in my yard. I have never seen an anole with this color pattern so I thought i'd post it here. Anyone know what this is?

Found this little guy in my yard. I have never seen an anole with this color pattern so I thought i'd post it here. Anyone know what this is?

Thanks for the id, so the pattern along the back of the lizard is normal? I have never seen this before, and I have been around brown and green anoles for years. I thought this one was a little unusual.
yea... all the ones they sell around here have them markings
The female brown anoles have that those markings, this is a different species then the native green and brown anolis carolinensis. The brown anole is an invasive species and will replace the ones that you are familiar with, you would be doing the environment a service to destroy or remove any that you see from the wild.
