Need help with a study

tsusnakeguy Oct 31, 2005 10:10 AM

Does anybody know of a scientific study that show the correlation of snake deaths to damaging affects in the environment. I have to do a speech on why you should not kill snakes and how it hurts the environment. I would love any help that can be provided.
Thanks

Have you tried searching for studies on PubMed (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi)? I would try a search for declining snake populations or a search on increasing populations of possible snake prey species. You might also want to just focus on the destruction that an overpopulation of prey species might have on the environment.

Just a thought.

Good luck on the report.
