what type of lizard?

bethnew Nov 08, 2005 10:04 AM

My fiance brought a lizard back from florida while working there. It is very small, will fit in the palm of my hand. It is light brown, smooth skinned with an orange stripe on its back and it loves flies? what is this? is there something else we can feed it because the flies are getting scarce witht the colder weather!

do you have a pic? that would be the best way to determine. you may get more help in one of the lizard forums. im afraid everyone will start to guess different stuff without a pic. is it a lizard and not a salamander or newt?
