Abberant Albino X Banded Albino California King

vonfischer713 Nov 12, 2005 03:33 PM

I am planning to breed my two kingsnakes this spring after hibrination this winter, the only thing Im unsure of is what the babies are going to look like, My Male is an Albino Cal. King with a completely abberant pattern, my female is also albino and has a banded pattern with two weird zigzag-like broken bands in the middle of her back, what are the possibilities of the babies patterns?? _Josh Topp Posted is two pics of my Male.

All the babies should be albino. The male's aberrant pattern is probably caused by a striped mutant gene. I predict that some of the albino babies will be banded, and some will have aberrant patterns. A few might have good stripes, but I would not count on it.

Please let us know how the babies turn out.
