I am considering acquiring 3 Suriname Toads(Pipa pipa). I have tried searching and have found a lot of conflicting information about their care. I was wondering what is considered the standards for their care. I was also wondering how a tank should be setup, like water depth, plants, filtering, etc.
Thanks for the help.

Personally I don't use plants and the water level is negligable as long as they are totally submerged.Plants wouldn't last long in my tanks because the frogs would just destroy them.I also dont use filtration, instead I opt for a simple water change here and there. These frogs are not as delicate as everyone makes them out to be.Simple tap water with dechlorinator will suffice. This will probably get a rise out of some "experts"but I wonder how many have bred them.I must be doing something right.Let me know if I can be of any more assistance.check out the link.
