hatchling copperhead/eating

whats the best way to get a hatchling copperhead (broad banded) feeding?

I had a baby Northern Copperhead several years ago that wouldn't eat. One day when I was feeding crickets to another herp I thought what the heck...... I threw one in and when it passed by the copperhead it nailed it. I fed it crickets until it finally switched over to rodents. It grew into a nice healthy specimen. Ron
