Wild caught ball python escaped...

wildball Nov 26, 2005 08:48 AM

I've got a adult ball python that has escaped from it's tank.. If I had known this snake was wild caught I would have never bought it. It's a very timid snake and doesn't like to be handled. Aside from the fact that I've had the snake 8 months now and it still won't eat. It only shies away from the mice. So, I don't think I could use food to try and lure this thing out from wherever it's hiding at. I have 3 dogs in my house and I really don't want them getting ahold of the snake. Any ideas or tricks would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

Fugitive captured. I had a hole in the box springs of my bed. He found his way into the hole and all the way to the opposite end of the mattress so that I couldn't see him when I shined a flash light inside. When I cut him from the paper stuff on the bottom, I've never seen him move so fast since I've had him. He definately didn't want to get back in his "house".
