My Albino California Kingsnake

scatha Nov 29, 2005 03:09 AM

She had a subtrate later that day, it's just that I bought this coconut fiber stuff which I had to soak in water and then dry. I think I'm going to switch to paper towel tomorrow since the coconut fiber is a pain to clean.

I love my snake, I haven't settled on a name yet, but I'm thinking of Aphrodite.

Sorry, the pictures aren't the best.

Now that is one beautiful Kingsnake, good luck with her. I would consider aspen bedding, as I have found this to be by far the best, the easiest to maintain and it looks nice too. Plus that little beauty can dig and burrow to its hearts content, if you give it a few inches worth. Keep enjoying your new snake! Jim
(Scatha, hope you did see my final note to your inquiry several days ago, if not please go back, thanks.)

I did see that, thank you for clearing that up, but mostly I'm sorry for misreading that. If you look back, you'll see me saying that I should have thought of other things that the title could have meant. I'm sorry for taking that the wrong way and thanks for your advise.

I'm not usually a fan of albinos, but she's very nice. I wish you well with her.

It's not how many snakes you have. It's how happy and healthy you can keep them.

I had one of those... but she continually musked and flicked her poop on me. It went everywhere. She was beautiful and I loved her, but when a guy mentioned that he was looking for one, I told him about her and traded her for a couple of beautiful corns. The corns are great, but I still miss her - not the musking and poop, but her beauty.
