My dog found him(?) while we were walking in the park. I don't think It's a native species. I found him smack dab in the middle of Long Island suburbs and he's clearly an aquatic turtle. He's about 10 inches long. My closest guess is some kind of Terrapin. Does anyone know what he might be?

try re-posting the pic. i'm just getting a question mark where the pic is supposed to be. i'm from the area and if its a good picture, i'll definitely be able to identify it.
