I was going through my books last night and i came across one about geckos. it said that it is possible to keep day geckos outside in a walk-in cage. Do u think its possible?

Sure, if you live in the tropics... or madagascar even 
I'd stick with an indoor setup, but this won't limit you to how extravagent you'd like to be. A summer cage isn't ideal either as catching these buggers won't be easy come fall.
