i know many species of Day gecko's skin tear when you touch them, but does anyone know a beuatifull, yet fairly easy species to take care of, thats skin doesn't tear when touched? I'd prefer it was a medium sized lizard, nothing really small.

you have to be careful with all the day geckos skin. i would say if you want a larger species, and want to interact with it, Standing's Day Geckos are good. they are more laid back and can tolerate holding. just be very careful and let the animal get very familiar with you first before you try to go picking it up.
