Hi,

does anyone have any reference concerning the presence of phaeomelanin in reptiles? Every research and reference to researches I've read so far say that lower vertebrates cannot synthesise phaeomelanin, however, I have read on some reptile breeder sites (and forums) that they do, but no reference were joined to the texts so I am missing that part of information.
