Frilled Dragon Diet

viborero Jan 09, 2006 12:52 PM

Hello everyone. My frilled dragon, JJ, LOVES crickets-gutloaded of course and he eats 12-15 a day religiously. I can't seem to get him to eat anything else, though. He won't touch mealworms, waxworms, forget superworms, and he even refuses pinkies! I know all the literature says that I have to offer him a varied diet in order to grow properly(he is about 5in S-V). Any info or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Try to trick him. Through about 5-6 crickets in his cage one at a time. this will get him thinking food, thin through a mill worm or what ever you wont to feed him in his cage and he might eat it without thinking about it. This worked with mine when she was little.

good luck
