Keeping Day Geckos in Cham. Cage

SanClementeSnake Jan 10, 2006 11:13 PM

I can get a deal on chameleon cages and I was wondering if I could keep day geckos in them if I heat the cage right?

Thanks,
Justin

Unless you live in a region that has consistently high humidity, most day geckos won't do so well in a screen enclosure.

There are some species of Phelsuma from dry climates that might do well, or even better in a screen cage than a glass aquarium.

check out phelsumaweb.com for a detailing of all the Phelsuma.

- You might try "Standings" day geckos....
