Hi Guys,

I’ve followed the forum since it started, but I have never been an active contributor. I have decided it is time to start posting. I have kept a number of musk turtles. I have had razor backs, stinkpots, and Mexican giant musk’s. I currently have a salvinii, a 3.4 group of loggerheads, and a 2.1 group of stripe-necked musk turtles. The stripe-necked are currently my favorites and I would like to know if anyone else on the forum are keeping them. I would like to breed them someday. At this time they are around three inches long. Anyway, I just wanted to say hi to everyone, and hopefully sometime soon I will be able to post pictures of my animals.
Take it easy,
Bob

Hello Bob & welcome aboard.
My gosh you have a lot of turtles! For muds, we have only the one yellow mud turtle. We also have a western painted in a different tank, then the rest of our shelled pets are 5 western ornate box turtles and a 55lb sulcata tortoise.
We have lots of other pets but they aren't turtles or tortoises. Basically we take in discarded and handicapped animals, we don't run a rescue it's just that keeping handicapped or thrown away pets is one of the hazards of being a vet-tech.
Our aquatic turtles aren't handicapped but some of our box & the sulcata are.
I can't wait to see your photos when you can get them posted. (check out the link for the Kingsnake photo gallery, it'll give you all the instructions on how to post photos.)
I love to look at other people's turtles.

I currently keep several species of musk turtles.. I currently have a 1:2:2 group of stripe-necks, a 1:3 group of loggerheads, and an 0:3 group of common stinkpots.. I'm currently looking for a dark phased male for my common stinkpots, and also more stripe-necks to ad to my collection.. I intend on breeding!!!
