How Long Can A Painted Turtle Live?

Does anyone know exactly how long a painted turtle can live?

I have had my painter for 14 years now. I was always told about 15-20 in cap. But as more vets are working with turtles and other advances they can live longer.

Some sliders have lived to 50, a handful even to 60 , so I don't see why a painted turtle can't live as long.
