Need to identify this turtle?

Hey my friend got this turtle the other day and at first i thought it was a slider but now im not so sure. this turtle is very small and i can not determain wut kind it is. so if u could please help me out and let me kno wut it is i would love the help. thanks

The picture is very blurry. How was the turtle acquired - purchased, picked up from a local pond, ect? It sort of looks like it could be a mud or musk turtle. Does it have any red around the edges of the shell?

I agree that it does resemble a mud(Kinosternon)or Musk (Snernothrus) turtle. I can't be sure without a clearer pic.

Very hard to tell from the pic, but based on the general colors and domed carapace I'd venture to guess a species of mud/musk turtle (kinosternidae)

Looks like an Eastern Mud Turtle. (Sorry i do not know the scientific name off the top of my head)

I am 15 years old and I have over 100 Turtles/Tortoises which 45 of those are different species!
Turtles are like potato chips, you can't have just one.
