Hey Shawn, it does my heart good to see some activity on the SDHS forum. I sure miss the group down there. Looks like you guys are getting all our rain. Should make for some real good herping down there for this year and next. I'll keep in touch.

Hi Mark, thanks for sending down all the weather you didn't want this year!.....LOL. We do have some new enthusiastic people involved again, and I agree, it's nice to see When's herp season up there again, July 10-20?......hehehe.

You should come and visit TN and see all the rain and crazy weather we get over here. And if you haven't figured it out it is the old newsletter editor and VP, Carl. I'm glad to see your doing well in WA.

The only thing I have to say about SDHS is that I haven't recieved a newletter in a year. Since my wife and I are life time members, I would have at least expected a couple of newsletters. I've emailed several times and never recieved a response from anyone. Do you know if there even is a newletter??? It sounds like there are more people getting involved which is great to hear. Maybe if there is a newsletter, I can add a few articles of my experience out here as far as herping and herp law out here in TN. Eimon, could you help me out with getting the newsletter again??

Yeah, I'd be glad to "hook" you back up. Things did get a little disorganized a while back (not through anyones fault particularly) but we are making good progress again. I'll check my membership list, but you should email me your current info and I'll make sure it's listed. Some former member herp experiences from where they are now would be most welcome for the newsletter. Here that Mark.......LOL. Good to hear from you Carl.
